Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

It's not such a happy valentine's day for us. As you may know, Courtney is in Europe. Bob is not upset, because he knows that true love is when you are happy when the other person is happy. But Courtney knew that Valentine's Day is Bob's favorite holiday, but Bob is still just so happy that Courtney is having such a good time in the beautiful weather of Spain. He knows that she won't be distracted by those husky, dark, Spanish farmboys, because she is true to her Valentine, Bob.
Anyway, Bob just wants to publicly thank Courtney for being the best Valentine in the whole world! I LOVE YOU COURTNEY!!!!!!!!! <3 Bob

Long-distance Relationship

Bob is very happy that Courtney gets to go to Europe for a month for her job, but he must admit he's a little sad that he's not going to see her that whole time! Hopefully she calls him soon and lets him know she's alright. He hasn't heard anything from her since she left Thursday. Hopefully she's not still mad about the whole shower thing.
Anyway, Bob isn't sure what to do now with all his free time now that Courtney's gone, so if any of you want to hang out with Bob, you have his number. He'll just be sitting at home, watching slide shows of him and Courtney's fun times.
Long-distance relationships... can still be serious.

Seriously Sorry

Recently Bob had to spend the night at Courtney's. (Not like that guys! Bob respects Courtney too much to let her lower her standards.) Well, in the morning, everyone was getting ready, and Bob said he wasn't going to take a shower. Courtney was getting upset because she thinks that boys need to shower in the morning because they stink, no offense to Bob. But Bob was steadfast about not showering. He was only joking, but Courtney didn't know this at the time.
Later Bob told her he was joking. But it seemed the damage had already been done. The thing is, that's just how Bob jokes. He did take it too far though, and he wants to say he's sorry.
Courtney is not mad about it. She was upset for a little while, but she realizes that Bob didn't mean to hurt her. Besides, she can't stay mad at him, because he's too funny! He is just so funny.

Concert Couple

Last night Courtney and Bob went to a concert. We saw The Dears. Bob thought this was appropriate, because Courtney is such a "dear" to him. This photo was taken by a friend on his camera phone, when he noticed how much we were enjoying the music and each other. We often get compliments on what a great couple we are! Courtney thinks this is just because Bob is so handsome and likeable.
Anyway, Bob has moved into his own place. It is nice, but it could use a woman's touch. He has also started a job. He is just temping right now. With their two incomes, they can buy each other really nice things. Courtney likes nice things (hint, hint!)
Things are still... getting serious.

Still Serious

There you have it. One serious couple seriously hugging each other. As with every true and good thing, there are some naysayers. But look at us, still going strong.

Things have especially been tough lately since Bob is still out of work and without a place to stay. But Courtney, as always, is supportive and understanding. It doesn't matter to Courtney what Bob's job is, because whatever he decides to do he will be the best at it!

We would like to pose a question to our readers. What do you think is the most important thing that will keep a serious relationship thriving? (We have our ideas but we'd like to hear yours!)

Reunion

Well, a lot of you suspected that we would be getting together when Bob moved to DC. (We suspected it too!) And, as everyone hoped, we are officially together, and we are serious.
Today we went to our first church meeting together. It was wonderful, even though we were running a little late. The ward was really nice and Bob felt right at home, even though some of the guys were giving him dirty looks because he was with the prettiest girl in the ward!
Right now Courtney is cooking up some romantic pasta. We are sure it will be delicious! It looks like things are... getting serious.
